Speaking at the ongoing covid inquiry taking place in Cardiff Hart also made the claim that the Welsh government had different lockdown rules ‘for the sake of it’s<br/><br/>Pembrokeshire County Council’s 12.5% tax rise is believed to be the biggest in the country, with another rise potentially next year. There was talk of a 21 percent increase which would have been the biggest jump in Welsh history, but that was decided against. The council say there is an over 30 million pound funding gap.<br/><br/>Newport City Council has hit back at a local brewer who said they are closing their Newport location due to a ‘slowly imploding’ city centre. Tiny Rebel, who also have a site in Cardiff and Brewery in Rogerstone, say that the high street in Newport has been a casualty of no help for hospitality post-Covid.
